The mission of the MVLA IT Department is to provide support, training/guidance, and leadership to ensure all education partners utilize technology resources ethically and productively. Working closely with the school site technology teams, the District Office Information Technology Department supports the technology needs of the Mountain View Los Altos High School District's teachers, students, and staff.
 
We maintain the wired and wireless infrastructure for all district and "BYOD" devices, using multiple client platforms, including Windows, Apple, and Chrome OS. We also provide critical technology services such as email, file sharing, content filtering, and printing.
 
The department supports several critical software applications, including Google Workspace, Zoom, Classlink, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office 365.  To view a list of approved EdTech tools, click the "Approved EdTech Tools" link on the left menu.
